We started The Storage Factory with a simple goal: make it easier for our neighbors to find dependable storage close to home.
We saw how difficult it could be to find a convenient space at a price that felt fair. Rates could change, options nearby were limited, and getting a clear answer wasn’t always easy. We believed storage could be simpler.
We’re husbands, fathers, and people who have spent our careers serving others as a Marine and police officers. That work taught us to prepare carefully, follow through, and earn people’s trust. It also shaped how we approached this property, including its fencing and camera system.
We know the things you store can mean more than their size or value. A classic car may represent years of work. A boat or RV may be part of your family’s favorite memories and plans for the next trip. Even the belongings you need to move out of the house may be things you’re not ready to let go of.
That’s why we set out to create a storage option close to home that feels straightforward from the start: a well-kept property, clear pricing, and people you can reach when you have a question. Whether you need space for a vehicle, boat, RV, trailer, or household belongings, we want the process to be simple.

Shane is a police officer with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a clear vision for the company’s future. As CEO, he focuses on the big picture, driving growth, shaping strategy, and leading marketing efforts to expand the brand and enhance the customer experience.
As a husband and father of two daughters, Shane understands the value of time spent with family and the importance of making storage easy and enjoyable. His drive for innovation and attention to detail continue to push the company forward and elevate what customers can expect.
JOHN VEENHUIS
CO-FOUNDER & CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER
John is a dedicated police officer who brings a strong sense of responsibility and operational focus to the business. As COO, he manages rentals and oversees day-to-day operations behind the scenes, ensuring every unit is prepared, every booking runs smoothly, and every customer is supported from start to finish.
As a husband and father of one daughter, John understands what families need when thinking about storage: reliability, simplicity, and peace of mind. His hands-on approach and commitment to consistency help create a seamless experience customers can trust.
PAT HOWE
CO-FOUNDER & CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Pat brings a lifetime of service, leadership, and discipline to the company. A Marine Corps Veteran and current police officer, he has built his career on reliability, accountability, and putting others first. As CFO, Pat oversees all financial operations, planning, and expansion efforts, helping guide the company’s growth with a strong, strategic foundation.
As a husband and father of three daughters, Pat understands the importance of creating stress-free, experiences for customers. His attention to detail and commitment to excellence help ensure the business continues to grow the right way while delivering a dependable experience for every customer.
BRADLEY MARKOVICH
GENERAL MANAGER
Brad is a retired firefighter whose career was built on problem-solving, quick decision-making, and serving his community. In his role as General Manager, he oversees daily operations and unit management, ensuring every unit is maintained, organized, and ready for the customer.
As a husband and father of two daughters, Brad values quality time and creating a simple rental process. His practical mindset and strong work ethic help keep everything running efficiently behind the scenes, giving customers confidence their belongings are safe and secure.
